When is the tmobile gx2 coming out

Not trying to be a douche, but you really have no idea what you just said lol. Just another device…. This is not just another device, this is truly revolutionary in the phone world. Also, for those of you wondering where to buy your new phone, Best Buy and Radio Shack are the best options. Both have a buy back policy that makes getting the next great phone in a few months easier. I will wait on this one…. Watch the price drops on this one. I would like to know and I want honest opinions is this phone going to be better than the Vibrant 4G?

Because this It has to be from your own experience please? Got my from Fries here local, class 10, on sale, 17 bucks a while back. This phone will definitely hold its own against the competition.. Plus Galaxy S II will be 1. Weighs less and look fantastic.

I can live with touchWiz, I always use launcherpro. Lighter is not always better. Many people thinking the galaxy s feels cheap. Obviuosly the samoled screen provides more saturated colors, but they are both great.

Personally, I think the galaxy s screen produces colors that are too over saturated. Better saturated than ashy white when viewed at an angle. And as far as weight goes, a good case can fix that. Hey pimpstrong i agree the Samsung Galaxy S2 will have a 4. The real argument here is super amolded display verses the super LCD..

Plus the screen drains battery so bad. This is a nice phone, but why do you really need to get? Because its new? You are getting the same thing right now, enjoy it. Nice words to the unwise. How would you know when a new text or email comes in without having to look at it constantly? Sorry if dumb question. Wait a month or so, hacks will be out to get the bottom lights to turn on or the charger light should there be one be your notification light. Thanks, checked it out.

Looks like it was written for SG4G. T-mobile LG G2X…. Super fast? The perfect phone? It can be considered an upgrade from the mytouch, seeing that it pretty much out scores it in every category.

Besides the avalibility of hacks. Since the mt4G is an HTC, there are more hacks available. I know you are correct and it is nice to get excited about the pretty new toys that are coming out. I have no problems with the MT4G and it is fast enough for my needs so there is no real need. Aah, the joys of new toys! The FCC filing indicates that it does include it. It probably does. If those flaws have been corrected, that very well could be my next phone over the Pyramid.

I have a mytouch 4g myself but ready to give it up. It is a great phone and all but honestly the screen resolution sucks big time. The G2 for example has an amazing screen clarity. Go to the San Disk website and buy it from there. I bought one from Amazon. The San Disk will give you the real deal and not sell you a fake or non-working one. Right in my price range. What are the odds of this phone selling out at retailers? Actually just check your upgrade online It will pop up the discount early more often than not without anyone having to override it and possibly messing with your MIR.

What is this? Aside from the. It is. You know samsung and tmobile have a plan to change somethings around. I have a 4g right now and the OS is a bit laggy.

I havent even installed any other apps yet. Samsung has to beef up their processors to have a win on G2X. With the Galaxy S2 having 2.

I heard it may have been troublesome on the original galaxy s but the GPS on my Nexus S is flawless, and I do mean flawless in every sense of the word. Daaaaamn only off contract? I was expecting somewhere around the mark. Color me happy. The Samsung Galaxy S2 will have a 4. Pulling the trigger on this on the 15th. Finally shall rid myself of the original MT3G. Is it the 15th yet? I hope you plan to pick it up on contract from Best Buy, and probably Best Buy Mobile, but safest to check.

Of course his add says…. I have seen enough times where the specs t-mobile writes are wrong. The more RAM available to the device, the better the performance will be when multiple or heavier programs are running. Capacity - The bigger, the better! However, battery capacity is not the only factor that has an effect on battery life. Those include the chipset in use, the software running on the device, as well as the consumer's unique usage pattern. Location - This field shows the positioning systems supported by the device.

Every wireless phone device that is sold in the U. Date approved - Shows the date when the particular phone is approved by the Federal Communications Commission. These limits are given in terms of a unit referred to as the Specific Absorption Rate SAR , which is a measure of the amount of radio frequency energy absorbed by the body when using a mobile phone.

PhoneArena Score Review. User Score User reviews. Released Apr 15, The touch screen is really responsive, requiring only a simple tap for a touch to register, and thanks to the dual-core Nvidia Tegra 2 processor, we were also amazed by how zippy the navigation felt.

Simple tasks like scrolling through a Web page or launching an application felt that much quicker. Even the accelerometer kicked in faster when switching from portrait to landscape mode. The G2x comes with a gyroscopic sensor as well. Beneath the display are the usual Android shortcut keys in the form of touch-sensitive buttons for menu, home, back, and search. On the top right of the phone is the front-facing camera. There are a couple of external speakers on the bottom along with the Micro-USB charging port.

The volume rocker is on the right, and the 3. The microSD card slot is located behind the battery cover, but you don't need to remove the battery to access it. On the back of the phone are the camera lens and LED flash. Features The T-Mobile G2x's feature set is an embarrassment of riches, with plenty of advanced smartphone technology that promises to provide speed and multimedia prowess.

As we mentioned, it has the highly praised 1GHz Nvidia dual-core Tegra 2 processor. Transitions between menus felt snappy, and we jumped through different points in an HD video clip with zero jittering. The app lets you easily find, purchase, and download games that take advantage of the Nvidia processor.

The G2x comes with Nova and Need for Speed Shift, and we have to say that both games performed very well in our initial tests. Graphics were very smooth and we experienced zero lag time during gameplay. Because of all this power, it's no surprise that the G2x comes equipped with multimedia features galore. It has a Micro-HDMI port so you can hook up the phone to a big-screen television, and with mirroring mode, you can see on the TV whatever is on your phone. If you would rather watch your own movies, the G2x comes with 8GB of internal storage.

This might not seem like a lot, but you can load additional media onto a microSD card--the phone supports up to 32GB of extra storage. To get content onto your device, you can treat the phone like a mass storage device by dragging and dropping media, or you can use the DoubleTwist software to sync content wirelessly. One of the other benefits of the dual-core processor is that the phone supports full HD p video playback. In addition, the G2x can record video in p with its 8-megapixel camera.

The short video clips we recorded looked pretty impressive, considering they are from a phone. We don't think video quality quite compares to that of a professional quality camera, but for family videos or simple YouTube clips, it works great. As for the still camera, photo quality was good but not as great we had expected.

The autofocus works to sharpen image quality, but the colors still looked a little dull. Low-light photos improved with the use of the LED flash, but images were more washed out than we would like.

The camera does have plenty of settings to assist you in getting the best possible photo, however.
